Overview
For the new Rebel Sport superstore in Rundle Mall, we were approached by Entwined to install multiple digital signage displays. There were just under 30 various endpoints, from digital screens, to tickers and large format LEDs.
This iconic heritage building presented some design challenges, such as restricted wall mounting on certain walls due to the heritage listing and very small, uneditable spaces that normally could be reconstructed to suit project specifications.
Fortunately, we specialise in modular solutions, so for this project we fabricated many custom mechanisms, and ended up winning an award for our cutting-edge installation solution we designed especially for the customer. Read about it below.

Challenge
The customer asked us if we could bring this huge front-servicing LED display closer to the window.
The problem was the minimal clearance — only 8mm of clearance above and below the display, and the displays were front servicing.
No problem - we said.
Let's put it on rails - we said.
Solution:
To accomodate this request, we engineered these specific rails, designed to embed into the ceiling
— with not a millimetre to spare —
and attached the displays.
This enabled the screen to slide toward the glass, as requested, with plenty of room for servicing as needed.
